Dexicards is run by Peano Mobile. This policy covers the Dexicards website. Questions about your data go to [email protected].

You can browse the card database, sets and prices without signing in. The website uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used and shows ads served by Google AdSense; both are described below.

Like any web server, ours handles technical request data (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested) to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, how visitors arrive (for example from a search engine) and what kind of device and browser they use, so we can see what is useful and fix what is not. Google Analytics records this with a random identifier stored in a cookie, together with an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use the reports only in aggregate.

Google AdSense shows ads on the website, which pays for running it. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits. Where personalised ads are not allowed or you decline them, Google shows non-personalised ads, which still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of other vendors’ use of cookies for personalised ads at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe). Google explains how it uses data from websites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before analytics or advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. We never send your name, email address or collection to Google Analytics or AdSense.

Signing in is optional and only needed for your collection and portfolio. When you sign in with Google we receive:

• Your name, email address and profile picture, to show who is signed in.
• A Google account identifier, so the same account reaches the same collection on the web and in the DexiGo apps.

We never see or store your Google password.

The folders, cards, quantities, variants, purchase prices, currencies and dates you add are stored on our servers with your account so they stay in sync between the website and the apps. They are private to you.

The website uses these cookies and storage:

• Sign-in cookies (only after you sign in): an encrypted Google session and a Dexicards session cookie that the browser’s scripts cannot read. They last up to 30 days and are removed when you sign out.
• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (such as _ga), which keep a random identifier for up to two years.
• Advertising cookies set by Google for AdSense on this site and on Google’s ad domains, used to show and measure ads as described above.
• Theme preference: if you pick light or dark mode, the choice is kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the card database and prices keep working without them.

• Google handles sign-in, analytics (Google Analytics) and ads (Google AdSense) under its own privacy policy.
• Our image CDN serves card pictures, so your browser requests images from it directly.
• Price and currency data (Cardmarket, TCGplayer and exchange-rate sources) is fetched by our servers. None of your personal data is sent to them.

We do not sell your account details or collection, and we disclose personal data only when the law requires us to. The analytics and advertising cookies above let Google collect data about your visits to our pages; under some US state privacy laws (such as the CCPA) using cookies for personalised ads can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information.

You can opt out of that at any time with Google’s Ads Settings, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by emailing [email protected].

Your account and collection are kept for as long as the account exists.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the DexiGo app, or by emailing [email protected] from the address you sign in with. Deleting the account permanently removes your profile, sessions, folders and every card in them.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, to object to its processing, to withdraw consent to analytics and advertising cookies, and to opt out of personalised advertising. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Dexicards is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
